Living Last Supper

A PERFORMANCE TO REMEMBER

Experience the Living Last Supper: A Performance

On Maundy Thursday of even-numbered years, we present the "Living Last Supper," a poignant performance that brings to life the Bible's account of the final meal Jesus shared with His disciples in Jerusalem. This event takes place before Jesus’s unjust crucifixion. Talented members of Grace vividly embody the roles of Jesus and the twelve apostles during the tension-filled moments following Jesus's revelation of an impending betrayal by one of them in their intimate upper room gathering.

This compelling dramatization, inspired by Da Vinci's iconic "Last Supper" painting, not only recreates a pivotal moment in scriptural history but also provides a profound context for the celebration of the First Holy Communion. It's an immersive experience that draws participants and observers deeper into the mystery and the solemn beauty of Maundy Thursday events, cultivating a space for reflection, spiritual renewal, and community.

Join us as we honor this sacred tradition, and partake in an evening of remembrance, fellowship, and faith. Every scene, every word spoken, transports us back, allowing us to witness the deep love and the profound sacrifices embedded at the heart of our faith. This event is more than a performance; it's an invitation to experience, reflect, and live the lessons of that Last Supper.
